When Reznor said that NIN was going on hiatus, he meant purely playing live (He said this in an interview on JJJ, abc.net.au/triplej). He said he had many projects to undertake. This Year Zero project is surely one of the many projects he had no time to spend on in addition to touring.

Hey! You are completely welcome about telling you about the band. The first time I heard it I was sampling music under the avantgarde category. I absolutely loved it. Hang on little tomato was the first song I heard and I was hooked. She has a beautiful voice and they seem to have a sincere taste in music and in what they do. I saw them on the public access channel about a year later, when it was broadcasting a concert they did. I love instrumental music that follows a mood and isn’t just a bunch of instruments playing music at the same time. They also have a few kinds of music that they play and her speaking more than one language means I get to experience different kinds of sounds bc they are influenced by a lot of different cultures as well. I am really glad you liked it. Most people are a little thrown off by the name and they don’t give it a shot, but I ABSOLUTELY loved it and and really really glad you liked it. Love you.
